A lesson that began with “I want to learn expressions for travel”might someday shift into “I want to try a proficiency test.”

There may be days when you just want casual conversation,or days when you want to talk about your future.

ONER teachers carefully accompany you through these changes—encouraging you when needed,and sometimes pausing with you when that’s what you need.

Sometimes they’ll say:

“Let’s push a little harder today. The test is coming soon, after all.”

And give you that extra motivation.

Other times they’ll say:“You look really tired today—I can see it in your face.

Shall we talk about how things have been lately?”

And spend time listening.
